Spring Staples: Target Edition

One of my favorite things about the newly warm weather is pedicures! 

It might seem silly, but cleaning up your winter feet and switching to freshly painted toes in strappy sandals is something I look forward to all winter long. 

I had a little too much fun shopping at Target recently and stumbled upon the cutest shoes and polishes. I've paired my favorites below.

No one knows exactly who invented high heels, but women and men love and loathe this genius each day.

Normally I am a lover but today, my loathe side is coming out. While I think heels are great and work and they always give me a little boost of confidence, I was reminded {the hard way} on Friday that heels and 15 hour work days are mortal enemies. 

Needless to say, I've been on the hunt for a few great flats to add to my work collection. Luckily, my work environment is trendy, so I can have fun with my shoe choices!

However, I am also not one to spend a ton of money on shoes. I like to find good deals that fun and trendy right now, but I don't feel guilty for the price tag. Six months down the road when I am over that trend/style/shoe.

It's no secret I am a nail polish addict with shoe hoarding tendencies. In fact , these are the two things that I love to plan my looks around! In keeping with the spirit of the holiday season, I decided to pair up some of my favorite Essie polishes with festive heels to create perfect mixes!

Fall Trend: Leopard Loafers

I already gave in to one of falls biggest trends—leopard loafers. I’d been eyeing them for a while and when Target had their version in a 10.5 (yes, I have big feet), I knew it would be worth the try! At $20, it’s not a big trend commitment, either.

I've been trying to find different ways to wear the loafers. My office is pretty casual in that we can wear dark jeans to the office. I figured Tuesday was to be the perfect chance for me to break in the new shoes and test the waters on my outfit.

As I go through my wardrobe trying to find other outfits, I must ask, what do you all plan to wear your leopard loafers with?
