Laughing at Myself: Reviewing 2012 in Pictures

2012 was one heck of a year for me. Both good and bad. 

Let's just say that I am glad I lived it, but don't look forward to repeating it!

Anyway, I love when other bloggers post photos for me to creep on, so I figured it would be a much more enjoyable way to do the obligatory "end of X year reflection".

Plus, I don't start my new job until next week ;)

January

Upon returning to school, H and I celebrated our 21st with the notorious 21 signs! 

Clearly mine was Cotton!

Let's just say I can't hear the words "Dirty Shirley" without gagging a little after this night. 

January also brought my last Sigma Kappa bid day, which was Twitter themed!

February

We kicked off the month winning THIRD in Stroll-off! My favorite philanthropy!

My last Sigma Kappa away grab-a-date to see the Orlando Magic play!

And of course, the EPIC sisterhood to Animal Kingdom!

March

My favorite day of Spring--Alpha Gamma Rho's White Trash Bash!

April

Kicked off the month with my last Dance Marathon!

And my last Sigma Kappa formal!

My boyfriend at the time was preparing for the bar examination and both of us were crabby all month.

Not even kidding. 

August

Visited then Boyfriend in NC for his little's wedding.

We also ventured to Chapel Hill, his Alma Mater, for a day.

September

Kicked off football season with then boyfriend.

We also broke up that weekend.

Back to the Sig Kap house! 

Ended the month is Key West to visit our parents and for Little Cotton's 21st!

More 21st Celebrations!

And Florida beats South Carolina!

Welcome Home PC '12!

I cannot believe that it is already bid day! Bid day was always one of my favorite days of the year as it is always a celebration not just the end of rush, but also new sisters-to-be!

I will miss being with my sisters today. The new Baby Doves have no idea how lucky they are to be entering our Mystic Bond…seriously!

For all you active sisters and especially you new members out there…don’t blink.  The time goes by so fast and once it’s gone, you’ll never get it back. You are so blessed to be part of your sisterhood and even when the times get tough, NEVER EVER take it for granted.

3.       I LOVE peonies! I also miss the farmer’s markets in Gainesville and being able to look at them on Sunday mornings.

4.       Here’s a secret: I LOVE AskMen.com ! I’m can be an overly rational thinker about things (like relationships) and sometimes womanly advice or columns are too much for me to handle.  

Dream Board: Clarity

Today's dream board is inspired by my current wish that my life could be a bit more black and white. Putting this dream board together, however, reminded me that among the black and white there are always going to be a lot of grey areas. Maybe these gray areas are what make the black and white parts of life so clear...

Today’s Pickins:

1.       This SigKap Lilly tank has me missing my beautiful sisters today! It’s move-in day at the 1108 and I am heartbroken that I officially no longer live there L

2.       Southern Living’s Farmhouse Restoration is pretty much my  dream home.

3.        The Mimosa Bar at this party might have to be a permanent in my new place!

4.       Pop-up, illustrated “Save the Date” cards are my current wedding obsession! I’ve got a bit of wedding fever with the weekend drawing near!
