I Left My Heart in Chicago (and Wisconsin!)

While I am definitely feeling the post-vacation blues, I am so excited to share some photos from my trip with you all! Ben and I had a blast during my FIRST Midwest Adventure (many more to come).

After we checked in at our hotel, we ventured down to Navy Pier and took the architecture tour down the river.While it was a rainy ride, it made for a fabulous way to see the city. 

That night, we also met up with Ben's fraternity brother for drinks downtown.

While we only spent two days in the city, I made sure to stop at Giordano's (Shutout to eHa for the reminder) for deep dish deliciousness.

Then came Ben's favorite part...riding the train back to Wisconsin to see his family!

We stopped at Lambeau (home of the Packers) once we arrived in Green Bay.

But the most exciting part of the trip?

I SAW SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME!

Unfortauntely, I didn't take too many pictures at the Packer's game, as my fingers basically froze off. Also, photos of me in bibs might be used for future blackmail.

While we are both missing our vacation, it is nice to be back in sunny Florida!

Headed to The Windy City!

I'm getting ready to leave on a FABULOUS trip with Ben! 

First stop: CHICAGO! 

After a few days there, we're headed to Green Bay, WI so see his family and to attend my first Packers game! 

The most important highlight of this post is this: I HAVE NEVER SEEN SNOW.  But really....this is going to be me....

Packing for Paradise!

I’m headed off to Key West in the morning with my sister to visit our parents and celebrate her 21^st!

I meant to pack last night but fell asleep so early! I guess tonight will have to do!

1.       I met this sweet girl in Gainesville my last semester at a local indie rock show. I can’t believe that she was on The Voice and was probably the most well received artist this whole season! 

2.       This might be the best child’s Halloween costume I have ever seen. 

3.       Hats off to the little entrepreneur out there who thought to sell this GOP button. 

4.       The Perfect Pallette is my go-to for inspiration when mixing colors in my wardrobe!
