I have been in love
with Mercury Glass Lamps for some time now but, like most out there, can’t
quite come to terms with some of the prices!
While I love the
options at Pottery Barn, there are some great alternatives at Target, all for
under $50! At that rate, you can afford to have a few of these lamps throughout
your place!
Are you a DIYer like
me? I can’t believe I stumbled upon this DIY Mercury Glass Lamp idea! It seems
really simple and could be done with any glass, according to the directions. I’m
thinking an Apothecary Jar!!
The secret weapon is
Krylon’s Looking Glass Spray Paint, which will create the mirror like finish! You
also need a lamp or jar with an opening since you will be spraying the inside!
I’m thinking I might
have to give this a try! Look out for a future post on this!
