Weekend Recap
As I am sure you can tell from my last post, this weekend
was a little more eventful than I had planned! Luckily I was able to spend some
of my time in Gainesville seeing so many of my beautiful sisterfriends, who I
miss dearly!
Needless to say, it was deathly hot in Gainesville. I am SO
glad I was wearing my PFG dress—it was easy and breezy! I ended up wear Jacks
instead of my boots just because of how hot it was! When I met up with a few
sisters before they headed over to our tailgate with Alpha Gamma Rho, some
realized the need to make last minute wardrobe changes due to the heat. I’m
sure when kickoff rolled around, they were glad they had changed!
While the Gators did not play very well, I can’t wait to see
how they fare against Texas A&M this weekend. Should prove to be a good
game!
Anyway, I am not going to let a boy ruin the memories of a
fun weekend! Here are some of my favorite pictures with some of my favorite
people from Saturday’s game!!
I am loving all of the recent gameday posts. This really is
the BEST time of year.
Today’s Pickins:
1.
Ghost Hunter’s season premier is going to be
investigating The Old Jail in Charleston! I love ghost tours and this was one
of the creepier ones I have been on.
2.
Kelly and her DIY Bar Cart are precious! Check
it out!
3.
Astroturf Coozies?! Too fun!
4. With Halloween as our next fun holiday, I am
looking forward to making a little Monster Munch to get me in the mood!

…Our Love Shall Never Fail
I am bursting at the seams in excitement for this weekend! I
can’t wait to head up to Gainesville for the first game of the season! I have
missed the town and my sisters greatly and can’t wait to be “home” again.
Growing up, Florida football was a tradition I came to love
and cherish. As the product of two UF alumni, the orange and blue flows through
my veins! It is so amazing to see everyone at the games, from the 85 year old
college sweethearts to the infants of parents that can only dream of the day
their kid is a Gator, Florida football is something that we all share in.
One of my favorite recent traditions is when all of the
players run to the student side/ band at the end of the game and everyone joins
together singing the Alma Mater! Seriously, Y’all, I teared up when we sang the
Alma Mater to close graduation!
Neath the orange and blue victorious,
our love shall never fail.
There's no other name so glorious,
all hail, Florida, hail!
